here it is

So, here it is. I'm diving into the world of blogging. Maybe not diving... more like skimming the surface. Anyway... it's a Friday and I'm just ready for the weekend. This work thing takes up too much time. There are so many more exciting things I can be doing with myself right now - like starting a blog.

Fall has just begun. Well, it should have started a while ago, but Nashville weather can be a little finicky sometimes. It went from being close to 90 last week to being in the 50s this week. It makes me want to sit by the fire and read a good book. There's something about sitting by a fire that makes me feel so content and relaxed. Right now, I'm sitting at work with a cup of hot coffee and a blanket around me. I feel like I should be reading a book or watching a movie instead of working at my computer. But oh well, you can't have everything. At least I can pretend I'm enjoying myself.
